Based on photos during my summer trip to Thailand, I created some postcards to remind me of memories I made there. The three images represent the three cities I visited: Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Khao Yai. All the cities had incredible scenic views. 

The photographs I used emphasized on composition of the elements so I wanted to translate those focal point into illustrations with simplified shapes and patterns. I decides to go with a Pop-Art style to play with texture and pattern in order to bring out the contrasting elements of each photo.

Vibrant color palettes and bold lines were common themes throughout this postcard series. Actual postcard size is 4in x 5in.
